Emergency Home Backup Solutions

A power outage can interrupt communication, lighting, food storage, remote work, and everyday comfort. NITIGO portable power stations provide a quiet, emission-free backup power source for essential household devices during short outages, storms, grid interruptions, and temporary emergencies. Designed for European households using 230V / 50Hz appliances, these solutions help keep your most important devices powered—without fuel, noise, or generator fumes.

Choose the right model based on two factors: battery capacity determines how long your appliances can run; AC output determines which appliances, and how many appliances at the same time, the power station can support.

Two models are available for emergency home backup:

NITIGO P1800 1024Wh / 1800W
NITIGO P1800 1024Wh / 1800W
NITIGO P2400 2048Wh / 2400W
NITIGO P2400 2048Wh / 2400W
  • The NITIGO P1800 (1024Wh / 1800W) is designed for households that need reliable backup power for essential appliances during short power cuts.
  • The NITIGO P2400 (2048Wh / 2400W) is designed for households that want stronger backup capability during longer or more demanding power interruptions.

Important: The P2400 delivers approximately twice the stored energy of the P1800. It can therefore run the same essential device for around twice as long. Its higher 2400W output also supports a wider range of household appliances.

The NITIGO P1800 is especially suitable for apartments, smaller homes, overnight outages, and users who want to protect communication, lighting, work devices, and personal comfort.

Stay Connected During a Power Outage — keep critical communication devices powered when the grid is unavailable. Suitable devices include smartphones and tablets, Wi-Fi routers and modems, laptops, radios and emergency communication devices, USB lights and rechargeable lanterns, and power banks and battery chargers. This helps your household access weather updates, emergency information, family communication, online services, and remote work tools.

Keep Essential Lighting Available — maintain visibility and safety during nighttime outages. The 1024Wh battery can power LED lamps, rechargeable lanterns, desk lamps, hallway or bedroom lights, and small emergency lighting systems. Low-power LED lighting consumes very little electricity, allowing the power station to provide many hours of backup illumination.

Support Overnight Comfort and Personal Care — for short overnight outages, the P1800 can support selected comfort and medical-related devices, including CPAP machines without high-power heating functions, portable fans, electric blankets, personal medical devices within the rated output limit, and phone chargers and bedside lighting.

Protect Food and Daily Essentials — the power station can provide temporary backup for selected cooling appliances, helping reduce the risk of food spoilage during short outages. Suitable uses include portable refrigerators, small compressor fridges, electric coolers, and selected household refrigerators, subject to startup-power requirements.

Handle Selected High-Power Household Appliances — with up to 1800W AC output, the P1800 can operate selected appliances within the rated limit, such as coffee makers, compact microwave ovens, low- to medium-power kettles, toasters, compact air fryers, and small induction cookers. High-power appliances should be used one at a time, with minimal additional load connected.

The NITIGO P2400 delivers double the battery capacity of the P1800 and a higher 2400W output, so it can support more essential devices, longer refrigerator operation, and a broader range of household appliances.

Keep More Household Essentials Running Together — the 2400W output gives your household more flexibility when several devices need power at the same time. A typical emergency setup may include a Wi-Fi router and modem, LED lights, smartphones and laptops, a portable fridge or refrigerator, a TV or radio, a fan or electric blanket, and camera, battery, and emergency equipment chargers. This makes the P2400 a stronger solution for families, home offices, and longer overnight outages.

Extend Refrigerator and Cooling Backup — food storage is one of the most important concerns during a power interruption. The larger 2048Wh capacity can support portable compressor fridges, electric coolers, small freezer boxes, selected household refrigerators, and beverage coolers. Because refrigerator compressors switch on and off during normal operation, real-world backup time may be longer than continuous-power estimates.

Maintain a Home Office During an Outage — for remote workers, students, and home-based businesses, the P2400 can provide dependable backup power for a complete temporary workspace. Suitable devices include a laptop and monitor, Wi-Fi router, smartphone charger, LED desk lighting, a portable printer, camera and battery chargers, and a small fan. This helps reduce disruption when a power cut affects work, online meetings, learning, or communication.

Support Higher-Power Kitchen and Comfort Appliances — with a 2400W AC output, the P2400 supports a wider range of European household appliances. Suitable appliances may include coffee makers, microwave ovens, air fryers, toasters, compact electric grills, induction cookers, kettles rated at or below 2400W, and selected low- to medium-power hair dryers. This model is better suited to short meal preparation, hot drinks, and practical comfort needs during an outage.

Build a More Complete Family Emergency Setup — the P2400 is ideal for family homes, longer overnight outages, storm-related power interruptions, home-office continuity, refrigerator backup, communication and lighting hubs, and comfort equipment and selected cooking appliances.

The estimates below assume approximately 85% usable AC energy after normal conversion losses. The P1800 provides approximately 870Wh usable AC energy, and the P2400 provides approximately 1740Wh usable AC energy. Actual runtime depends on appliance settings, battery condition, ambient temperature, compressor cycling, and the number of devices connected at the same time.

Appliance Typical Power P1800 (1800W) P2400 (2400W)
LED Light 10W ~87 hrs ~174 hrs
Wi-Fi Router 15W ~58 hrs ~116 hrs
Smartphone Charging 20W ~43 charges ~87 charges
Laptop 60W ~14 hrs ~29 hrs
CPAP Machine* 40W ~21 hrs ~43 hrs
Electric Blanket 80W ~10 hrs ~21 hrs
Portable Fan 50W ~17 hrs ~34 hrs
Refrigerator** 120W ~7 hrs ~14 hrs
TV (LED 50") 100W ~8 hrs ~17 hrs
Coffee Maker*** 1000W ~50 cups ~104 cups
Microwave 1200W ~43 min ~87 min
Compact Air Fryer 1500W ~35 min ~70 min

* CPAP runtime may be shorter when heated humidification or heated tubing is enabled. ** Refrigerator and cooler runtime may be longer in real use because compressors cycle on and off rather than operating continuously. *** When operating an appliance close to 2400W, avoid connecting additional high-power appliances at the same time.

Many European household appliances use high power, especially kettles, heaters, and cooking devices. Always check the appliance label before connecting it.

Choose the P1800 when you need essential home backup during short outages, power for lighting, communication, work devices, CPAP machines, and portable cooling, a practical emergency solution for apartments and small households, or support for selected household appliances rated at or below 1800W.

Choose the P2400 when you need longer runtime for family emergency backup, more refrigerator, lighting, communication, and home-office coverage, greater flexibility for multiple devices running at the same time, or support for higher-power cooking and household appliances rated at or below 2400W.

When the grid goes down, NITIGO helps keep your household connected, informed, comfortable, and prepared—so you can focus on what matters most.
